After capturing ‘triple crown,’ Gonzaga ends season as the D.C. area’s top-ranked team

The losses that dot the landscape of No. 1 Gonzaga's season mean something, and that's the mark of a good season, Coach Steve Turner said, regardless of whether you stand holding a trophy at the end of it.

The Eagles (32-5) stand with many, many trophies. They are winners of their own Gonzaga D.C. Classic holiday tournament, and finished in third place at the Les Schwab Invitational in Oregon.
